Alaskan Wild Flower Fairy
In the
petals
of the
Alaskan
wild
flower
a fairy
grows
her skin
soft as
snow
in the
light
of the
Morning
Star
half
hidden
by the
sun’s
autumnal
glow
where
she flies
in the
cirrus
sky
haloed
in the
orange
blue
indigo.
Golden Orchid Fairy
In a
bed of
crystal
leaves
fairy
awakens
from her
dream of
golden
orchids
in the
snow,
irises
lit by
the tears
in the sky
and petals
of light
born from
the milk
of a rose
till she
flies
toward the
eclipsing
sun
haloed
in the
amaranth
drops of
a rainbow.
Morning Circle
In the
smoke
of her
incense
wiccan
purifies
her skin
and the
scar on
her chin
lifting
a glass
of black
wine to be
blessed
by the
goddess
in heaven.
She eats
a melon
cake its
sweet soft
center
empowering
her within
as she
whispers
a prayer
closing
the circle
lit by the
corona of
light the
morning sun
brings in.
Scrying
In the
light
of her
fire
wiccan
purifies
her mirror
so she can
scry in the
snow. She
will be
haloed in
dusky silk
flowers
inside a
temple of
gold where
she will be
wed under
the first
evening star
blessed by
the Earth
Mother in
circle of
fire. A
hymn is
sung to the
rhythm of
a lyre and
its sweet
music lulls
her to sleep
dreaming
of an orchid
sky and
sapphire.
