Wiccan Dreamscape

In sachet of pale

lavender and thyme

wiccan finds solace

in the deep shadows

of her home a blue

candle by her bed

yellow citrine on

her pillow to induce

soothing dreams of

swan feathers by

her altar the soft

down of an owl

a talisman of gold

the silver leaves

of a stained glass

portal leading her

to a stream of light

where she is crowned

in cool petals of

amethyst and the

aurora’s sweet drops

of indigo.

Icicles of

the Clematis



In the

icicles

of the

clematis

you can see

a swirl

of glass

melt into

white gold,

a pool of

quicksilver

streaked

in blue

indigo

and

silver

tipped

petals

of a

silk

damask

rose

lit

by the

violet

tears

of a

gypsy

in

circlet

of fire

in the

snow.





Sorceress of the Egyptian Rose

Wakened

in bed

of maple

leaves

sorceress

makes her

way to

altar in

the snow

lit by

glass

tears of

starlight

where

she spins

threads

of gold

into ice

petals

of an

Egyptian

rose

tipped

in the

milk of

a lotus

wed in

tiny drops

of crystal

and opal.
