by Jeannie Butler
“Read it, reread it, but whatever you do, don’t lend your copy out—you’ll never get it back!”—Mary Cox-Bilz.
A deep and nourishing message that can be read over and over again. The effects of war, anxiety, fear, and stress are transformed into an amazing view of the world. We begin to see it through the Creator's eyes and understand the power we have been given. With humor and love and sometimes gentle chiding, He teaches the author that we are not alone, and that the power of peace resides within our own minds and hearts.

Introduction
Hello, God.
Hello, Jeannie.
God?
Yes?
What should I say this book is about?
What do you want to say this book is about?
Well…it’s about you and me...
OK. What else?
Well…
Come on…
I tried to write this Introduction by myself, you know.
I know.
And nothing happened.
I know.
So is that what this book is all about?
And what is that, Jeannie?
That I couldn’t do it by myself?
You’re not by yourself. Jeannie?
Yes?
Are you worried about something?
Well, of course. You know me.
Yes I do. Tell me why you’re worried.
I’m afraid to expose what I’ve written because so much stuff like this has been done before.
Yours hasn’t.
I know, but I think the other stuff is so much better.
Better than what?
Better than what I can do.
Oh, that’s nonsense.
Why?
Because what you can do nobody else can and vice versa.
Does that make it good?
That makes it yours.
Oh.
And Jeannie…
Yes?
That’s not a bad thing to let other people in on.
Excuse me?
This isn’t just about you.
No?
No. It’s about everybody. All my children.
How so?
Well, if somebody reads our book and decides to talk to me, don’t you think that’ll be a good thing?
Oh. I see.
Do you?
Well I know this. It’s certainly made me feel a lot better.
So don’t be afraid.
But there are a lot of nuts out there, God, who think they can talk to you, or that you can talk to them.
I can.
But I mean crazy nuts.
I do, too.
I mean people who do really bad things in your name.
Oh there are lots of those. Always have been.
Then how am I supposed to know the difference?
That’s not your job.
It isn’t?
No. Your job is to do the best you can.
Oh.
Feel better now?
Yes. Thank you, God.
You’re welcome.
So God?
Yes?
I’m just going to put all of our conversations together, try to get them published, and then just let the chips fall where they may.
That’s what I do.
Excuse me?
I create something, give it everything it needs to succeed, and then let the chips fall where they may.
Oh. Now I know what you mean.
You do this time, don’t you?
Yes. You’re talking about Free Will. What you’re saying is if people want to read this book, they will. As a matter of fact, if they’ve gotten this far, what we’ve said in the pages to come will speak to their hearts. Is that it?
Bingo, Baby.
